Learn how to make peach lemonade from scratch! This recipe is easy and perfect for summer to use all those fresh peaches.

Do you love lemonade as much as we do? If yes, you're going to love today's recipe because it screams summer and delicious drinks! This homemade peach lemonade is so delicious and because it's made with fresh ingredients, it's not overwhelmingly sweet and you can taste the peach in every sip!
Fresh ingredients are the key!
When it comes to making non alcoholic drinks, it's so important to use seasonal and fresh ingredients. Ditch the canned and frozen stuff and opt for fresh deliciousness. Fresh peaches have so much flavor and you won't want to miss that. Yellow peaches work best for this recipe as they also give a nice color.
This goes for lemon, too. You can make lemonade using lemon concentrate or bottled lemon juice, it just wouldn't be as fresh and refreshing.
How to make peach lemonade from scratch
Prepare the peaches
Wash the peaches and cut them into chunks. You don't need to peel them and you don't have to chop them perfectly.
Cook the peaches
Place the peaches, water and sugar in a sauce pan and cover. Cook on medium low heat for about 15-20 minutes until the peaches fall apart and release their juice. Turn the heat off and let it cool for a few minutes.
Blend and strain
Transfer the peaches and their juice to the blender and blend for a minute until fully smooth. Press it through a mesh strainer. Reserve the syrup and discard the solids.
Add water and lemon juice
In a large pitcher, pour in the peach syrup with lemon juice and water. Stir until well combined. Refrigerate for one hour before serving or serve immediately over ice.

A few notes to keep in mind
- You don't have to peel the peaches for this recipe. In fact, keeping it would make the lemonade more delicious.
- Store the leftovers in a pitcher and refrigerate for up to 2 days.
- You can add a few chunks of fresh peaches to the glasses or the pitcher to make the drink more beautiful.
