Dalgona Coffee (Whipped Coffee)

Dalgona coffee is a frothy whipped coffee made with only 3 ingredients. It's served with ice milk and is super tasty!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tablespoon instant coffee
  • 2 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoon hot water
  • ½ cup ice
  • 1 ½ cup milk

Instructions
 

  • Place instant coffee and sugar in a bowl.
  • Pour in the hot water into the bowl and using an electric mixer, mix the instant coffee and sugar with water for about 2 to 4 minutes until it's frothy and stiff.
  • Fill two glasses with ice and milk. Scoop the whipped coffee over milk for each glass. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • You can use other sweeteners such as coconut sugar, brown sugar or Stevia for this recipe. 
  • If looking for a nondairy milk option, oat milk works well. 
  • Make sure you're using instant coffee and not ground coffee. Ground coffee won't work for this recipe as it can't dissolve in hot water.
