Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup oatmeal see notes
  • 2 bananas preferably frozen
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter
  • 1 ½ cup unflavored almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ tablespoon flaxseed optional

Instructions
 

  • Place all the ingredients in a blender and blend for a minute or two until creamy.
  • Divide between two glasses and serve immediately.

Notes

  • You can use old fashioned or quick oatmeal for this recipe. 
  • I used unflavored almond milk for this recipe, but you can also use dairy milk, cashew milk, soy milk or any non dairy milk of your choice. 
  • You can add 2 tablespoon peanut butter if you like it taste more like it. 
  • You can use either creamy or crunchy peanut butter to make this oatmeal smoothie.
